Financial Controller

Overview

Cpl Executive has been exclusively engaged by an internationally expanding organisation seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a strong compliance focus to lead their finance department. This permanent position, based in County Wicklow, Ireland, reports directly to senior management and involves managing the company's finance operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Manage cashflow and treasury functions effectively.
• Lead the annual audit process.
• Drive continuous enhancements in financial controls, systems, and procedures.
• Develop and mentor a small finance team to build capability.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with solid technical skills and commercial insight. Experience thriving in fast-paced environments, proactive leadership qualities, and the ability to interact with senior leadership are critical.
