Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper for Prattville Baptist Hospital located at 124 South Memorial Drive, Prattville, AL 36067. The role involves performing light cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within healthcare settings including hospitals. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and corridors, floor care, and responding to housekeeping-related requests or issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one quality customer service ensuring attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies regularly; shampoo upholstery as needed.
• Dust, polish furniture, fittings, and clean metal fixtures.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces thoroughly.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Arrange furniture and amenities according to prescribed layouts.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and housekeeping problems such as spills or broken glass.
• Contribute positively to the team and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours with shifts scheduled Monday through Sunday; specific hours may vary and will be detailed during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a fixed hourly wage of $14.00 per hour.
