Role Overview
Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites is seeking a passionate Guest Service Agent to join on a casual basis. Your role is to warmly welcome guests from arrival through departure, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. You will also guide guests during their stay by offering expert advice about local sights, dining options, and providing personalized guest service that leaves a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently manage the check-in process, addressing initial questions or needs promptly.
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with guests, team members, and stakeholders via face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Manage accurate reservation processing, updates, and special requests using property management software to maintain smooth operations.
- Serve as the main contact point for guests throughout their stay by offering timely support, solving issues effectively, and sharing tailored recommendations to enrich their experience.
Work Schedule
- Shift patterns rotate across all days Monday through Sunday.
- Work hours range between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
- Positions offer immediate commencement.
Hourly Pay Rates (excluding superannuation)
- Monday to Friday: $34.96 per hour
- Saturday: $41.96 per hour
- Sunday: $48.95 per hour
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering top-quality service in hotel, hospitality, or similar client-facing roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear and professional interaction across multiple platforms.
- Consistent ability to surpass service expectations through a proactive, positive attitude addressing guest requirements.
- A strong enthusiasm for creating excellent guest experiences with effective problem-solving skills.
- A polished and professional demeanor aligned with the organisation’s values and standards.
- Willingness to commit to a flexible work schedule, including availability for weekends, public holidays, and variable shifts.
