Role Overview

The role of Internal Operations Manager is critical to ensure organizational efficiency and operational excellence. The incumbent will be responsible for managing internal systems, automations, and AI-driven workflows. This position entails leading high-impact special projects assigned by the CEO and President, overseeing supply chain demand planning and purchase order management across retail and eCommerce channels, supervising customer service, assisting financial modeling and bookkeeping functions, and supporting quality assurance initiatives. Regular preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors is also required.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain operational systems, processes, and workflows across the company.
• Lead strategic projects and company-wide initiatives such as ensuring regulatory and labeling compliance internationally, and sourcing new U.S.-based co-packing partners.
• Develop and manage dynamic demand forecasts and detailed supply planning.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials and coordinate production scheduling.
• Handle purchase order processing, routing, and oversee fulfillment for retail and eCommerce channels.
• Manage customer service operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support organic certification, regulatory adherence, quality control, and product safety standards.
• Assist finance teams with invoicing, inventory valuation, and quarterly financial reporting to the Board.
• Support ERP system management and collaborate with 3PL partners, suppliers, co-packers, and warehousing entities.
• Execute special cross-functional projects, including new supply chain development for innovative product launches under CEO and President guidance.
• Promote ongoing improvements to gross margin performance.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 4 to 7+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or systems roles within CPG or startup environments.
• Proficiency operating ERP platforms, Shopify and Amazon interfaces, third-party logistics portals, and automation software.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with business intelligence dashboards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in startups valued, with a resourceful and entrepreneurial approach; preference for candidates from early-stage, rapidly growing brands.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities: integrity, result-driven, collaborative, adaptable, and self-directed.
• Capable of leading projects and managing cross-departmental deliverables effectively.
• Expert user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
