Junior Accountant (E-Commerce)

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and driven Junior Accountant to become part of our finance team based in Dubai, UAE. This role focuses on supporting daily financial activities with particular emphasis on e-commerce platforms and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Manage sales reconciliation processes specifically for Amazon and Noon marketplaces.
• Oversee and reconcile payments, commissions, and deductions related to marketplaces.
• Support inventory accounting tasks including stock reconciliation and valuation.
• Prepare product costings and assist with cost analysis efforts.
• Maintain precise accounting records along with relevant financial documents.
• Assist in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations.
• Contribute to activities related to month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Support preparations and compliance related to VAT documentation.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Have between 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon and Noon marketplace accounting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and product costing methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and common accounting software or ERP systems.
• Exhibit strong analytical capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
