Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking to welcome a Junior Data Analyst to our client in the financial services sector to support their operations team. This position primarily involves managing business systems, ensuring data accuracy, producing insightful reports, and supporting the upkeep and enhancement of internal applications. Close collaboration across various business units is essential to guarantee dependable data and streamline operational workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and support business systems such as CRM platforms and SQL databases, maintaining data integrity and precise workflow execution.
• Assist in the development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of internal systems in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure client and operational data accuracy by routinely validating information across business platforms.
• Create and manage sophisticated Excel models to aid in reporting, data analysis, and deriving business insights.
• Compile and verify reports and communications directed towards external stakeholders.
• Document operational workflows and keep system configuration documentation up to date.
• Provide general support for systems and operational processes as needed.
• Maintain high professional and regulatory standards with integrity, precision, and responsibility.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
• Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in data analysis and generating reports.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and CRM software like Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills enabling management of multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship management.
• Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members.
