Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, diligent Labourer to join our team, contributing to the successful execution of restoration and construction tasks. This position involves assisting skilled crew members, operating various tools and equipment, and maintaining clean, safe, and orderly job sites. Typical Day-to-Day Activities
As a Labourer, you'll engage directly with projects transforming damaged environments into renewed spaces. Duties include loading vehicles, preparing for site work, debris removal, equipment setup, demolition assistance, and post-restoration cleanup. Working alongside seasoned teammates, you will develop mastery over essential tools, ensuring each site is safer and more organized upon completion. Your dedication will help keep projects on schedule, bringing clients closer to restoring their properties.
Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of construction tools, materials, and cleaning or construction techniques
- Strong work ethic with eagerness to learn during on-the-job training
- Comfortable using mobile devices and relevant software applications
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office proficiency
- Good communication abilities and a collaborative, positive mindset
- Possession of a valid full-class driver's license and a clean driving record
- Completion of fit test and other safety-related certifications
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Capability to handle tasks requiring physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and using protective equipment including respirators and safety footwear
