Position Overview
Nair Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our Qatar operations team. This full-time, onsite role demands a professional with deep experience in Linux administration and patch management to ensure optimal performance and security of critical server systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, monitor, and maintain Linux-based main system servers and related applications.
- Manage and implement strong Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity and uptime.
- Oversee automated backup scripts and data retention processes compliant with organizational policies.
- Maintain reliable operating system environments aligning with required application service levels.
- Continuously monitor system performance and resource utilization, adjusting as necessary.
- Understand systems architecture and apply strategic problem-solving approaches to avoid business disruption.
- Ensure system and application security by implementing and enforcing policies to prevent unauthorized access or service interruptions.
- Collaborate with SOC teams for identity attack detection and response integration.
- Manage Red Hat OpenShift containerized environments including deployment, scaling, and life-cycle management.
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure environments based on cloud computing models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Linux system administration with a hands-on approach.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in PAM and PIM implementations.
- Strong analytical skills to perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause evaluation.
- Firm understanding of SOC-level identity attack detection and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift architecture, deployment, and operational management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Work location: Al Rayyan, Qatar.
- Integration and collaboration with Security Operations Center (SOC) for detection engineering are expected.
