About the Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to guarantee the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the company's facilities and utilities. This role demands significant expertise in electrical engineering, facility management, electricity billing systems, and customer relations, while leading a maintenance team to meet operational goals and comply with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance efforts.
- Ensure uninterrupted functionality and reliability of electrical infrastructure, facilities, and utilities.
- Lead, manage, and cultivate the skills of the maintenance team to meet departmental targets.
- Oversee maintenance scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and contractor performance management.
- Track equipment functionality and drive continuous improvements to reduce downtime.
- Maintain adherence to safety standards, company policies, and relevant industry regulations.
- Supervise electricity service billing operations, including process management, tariff structuring, invoicing, meter reading, and managing customer accounts.
- Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and customer queries.
- Support electrical sales by offering technical guidance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Create and enforce maintenance policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate detailed maintenance reports, operational analyses, and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and maintenance service providers.
- Oversee inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment effectively.
- Respond quickly to emergency repair situations and implement corrective measures.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional certificates in maintenance or facilities management are advantageous.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience managing maintenance functions.
- Prior exposure to facility management, utility services, or electrical maintenance.
- Demonstrated competency in managing teams and budgets in maintenance settings.
- Thorough experience with electricity billing systems covering billing methodologies, tariff models, invoicing procedures, and customer account handling.
- Background supporting electrical sales operations and customer service interactions.
