Role Overview

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays an essential role in steering the company's financial achievements by overseeing planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within our mid-sized multinational context. This position collaborates closely with senior management and business leaders across Finance and operations to provide actionable financial insights, support strategic choices, and ensure alignment of financial plans with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting including periodic and quarterly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for all entities, encompassing consolidated statements, annual reports, and related notes.
• Lead the coordination and development of annual budgets across all legal entities.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
• Drive the monthly reporting and financial consolidation process.
• Utilize innovative analysis and presentation tools to distill complex financial data into clear reports.
• Prepare and review management and cost-center financial reports.
• Build and maintain effective communication across diverse departments and organizational levels.
• Deliver insightful analysis of key business drivers, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Actively participate in the Finance team, communicating progress, challenges, and relevant updates.
• Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations, facilitate regular check-ins and team meetings.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial, accounting, and capital analyses as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Five to seven years of progressive experience in financial management, including at least three years in a leadership role post-professional designation.
• Possession of a CPA or equivalent accounting designation along with a university degree; MBA is an asset.
• Spanish language skills are considered advantageous.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit standards.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, capable of handling and interpreting extensive data sets.
• Proven track record in preparing executive-level financial reporting packages.
• Strong leadership with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven adaptability in fast-paced, multi-currency, and multinational business environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Previous experience managing and developing small teams.
