MEP Construction Manager

About the Role

An established MEP construction firm based in the UAE is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead a significant project located in Dubai. This role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a proven track record in managing large-scale MEP construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee MEP construction activities ensuring alignment with project timelines and work programs.
• Lead and coordinate the project team by effectively distributing tasks and responsibilities to maintain project order and success.
• Organize and strategize daily work schedules while coordinating across all MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project execution within allocated budgets and deadlines.
• Participate in meetings with main contractors, consultants, and clients to address project concerns with strong communication skills.
• Drive the achievement of project goals including targets related to staff costs, material usage, and labor allocation by delegating responsibilities appropriately to the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a duly attested certificate.
• Possess at least 10 years of experience in the MEP construction sector.
• Minimum of 4 years serving as an MEP Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
• Proficient in project management, planning, and control to ensure project alignment with scheduled timelines.
• Demonstrated capability in team leadership, task organization, and successful project delivery.
