About the Role
This position is for an experienced Murex Developer who has practical, hands-on exposure to Murex MX.3 modules, integrations, workflows, and technical components. The role involves building, improving, debugging, and supporting Murex environments across end-to-end trading processes. Experience in trading, risk, and regulatory functionality is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Build and improve Murex workflows, MxML components, market data feeds, interfaces, and integration logic.
- Support and configure modules across Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and, where needed, Collateral and Reporting.
- Work with MxML Exchange, dynamic tables, formulas, templates, scripts, and data dictionaries.
- Study business needs, identify solution gaps, and translate them into functional and technical deliverables.
- Investigate and resolve issues involving Murex services, Linux/Unix, Oracle/Sybase databases, batch chains, and scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, QA, and downstream teams.
- Take part in releases, configuration control, and production support activities.
- Improve performance for pricing, workflows, trade booking, and settlement processes.
- Handle client discussions, requirement workshops, and first- and second-level clarifications.
- Work with global teams, including alignment to EST hours when required.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of practical experience with Murex MX.3.
- Experience with MxML Exchange, Workflows, Datamart, and MDR.
- Knowledge of Murex simulation views, static data, and market data setup.
- Familiarity with pre-trade and post-trade workflows.
- Strong debugging skills and solid understanding of Murex environments.
- Experience with Murex services, batch schedulers such as Autosys, Control-M, or Tidal, and log analysis.
- Hands-on ability with Oracle and Sybase SQL.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle in at least one asset class such as FX, MM, IR, equities, or derivatives.
- Capital markets, trading, and risk domain knowledge is required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and resolve complex issues.
- Engineering degree or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Murex certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile squads, exposure to cloud setups, and knowledge of FRTB, BIM, or market risk modules are desirable.
- Shell scripting and Python for automation are good-to-have skills.
