Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, configure, and manage network infrastructures, including hub-and-spoke architectures. The role involves administering and enhancing network components and Palo-Alto firewalls while adhering to security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and operate network infrastructure with a focus on hub-and-spoke models
- Administer and develop network elements and Palo-Alto firewalls, ensuring compliance with security protocols and industry best practices
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of network issues as part of 2nd-level support and assist with service requests
- Participate in IT projects from conception through implementation to go-live, contributing to network standards advancement and automation solutions
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in networking and IT project management
- Comprehensive knowledge of routing, switching, DNS, VPN, IP addressing, and IT security, with practical firewall expertise
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Fluency in both German and English
