Operating Director

Overview

Cornerstone Caregiving, the largest privately owned in-home care provider, is expanding and committed to enabling seniors to age comfortably and with dignity in their own homes. We are seeking a dynamic Operating Director to lead our Coeur D’ Alene, ID branch. As a key leader, you will independently manage operations supported by corporate training and a network of peers, playing a crucial role in our mission and nationwide growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the branch operations independently with ongoing corporate support.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider in the region.
• Build and nurture relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, hospices, and senior living communities.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage and managing on-call responsibilities for client and caregiver needs.
• Conduct in-home assessments, build strong client rapport, and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Manage financial aspects of the office, including budgets and profit & loss statements.
• Create a positive workplace culture by motivating and incentivizing the team to foster high morale.

Qualifications and Desired Attributes

• Proven leadership experience managing a team with success in meeting sales and business development targets.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience in recruitment, hiring, and staff oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven mindset, resilience, and a passion for problem-solving and challenges.
• Preference for leaving behind conventional 8-5 desk jobs and embracing autonomy with corporate support.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary to support establishment and growth of the branch.
• Quarterly profit sharing of 20% in addition to the salary, aligned with office growth.
