Role Overview

The Operations Manager position is a full-time role based in Rocklea, Queensland, with a hybrid work arrangement involving primarily onsite presence with some remote work allowances. The incumbent will oversee daily operations related to manufacturing, logistics, and service delivery within Prime Blue's AdBlue® and industrial chemical production lines. This includes managing production schedules, inventory control, warehousing functions, quality assurance, and safety compliance. The role demands continual monitoring of performance indicators, process enhancements, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent supply and service standards. Responsibilities also entail coordinating suppliers and transport partners, driving continuous improvement programs, and contributing to operational planning and budgeting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management within manufacturing, logistics, chemical, or industrial supply sectors.
• Mandatory experience as a semi-truck driver with a valid commercial truck driving license.
• Strong expertise in production planning, inventory control, and optimizing workflows.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and safety protocols; understanding of ISO standards is advantageous.
• Ability to manage supplier and customer relationships, including contract administration and oversight of service levels.
• Proficiency using ERP or inventory management software, and capable of conducting data analysis and preparing operational reports.
• Competent leadership skills including team coordination, coaching, and facilitating cross-department collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, decision-making, and risk assessment abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills tailored to internal teams and external partners.
• Preferably holds a tertiary qualification in operations, supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in transport, mining, construction, or industrial sectors, along with knowledge of DEF/AdBlue® products, is a bonus.
