Role Overview
This full-time remote Payroll Representative position entails managing comprehensive payroll functions. Core responsibilities include precise and timely payroll processing, updating employee records, addressing payroll-related inquiries internally and externally, administering garnishments and statutory deductions, reconciling payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Collaboration with HR, finance, and other departments is vital for resolving issues, enhancing payroll procedures, and delivering clear communication on payroll topics.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services, including familiarity with payroll systems and completing multiple payroll cycles.
- Proficient knowledge of garnishments and statutory deductions with strict adherence to compliance and accurate documentation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively address questions and resolve payroll issues.
- Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and competency with spreadsheets and payroll software tools.
- Experience in payroll, accounting, or human resources operations, preferably within global or complex organizational environments.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote work setting, handle confidential data with discretion, and meet stringent deadlines.
- Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications such as CPP or FPC certifications are advantageous.
