Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a flexible hourly contract role offering $35 per hour. This remote position requires committing between 10 to 40 hours weekly, supporting medication-related clinical inquiries while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to clinical questions about medications by integrating patient information, standard resources, and labeling guidance.
• Assess AI-generated replies for accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and the appropriate evidence base.
• Amend responses that are incorrect or incomplete, providing detailed annotations and written feedback.
• Escalate situations with insufficient evidence, conflicting instructions, ambiguous clinical context, or concerns impacting patient safety.
• Consistently apply project evaluation frameworks and quality benchmarks, engaging in calibration and feedback activities.

Requirements

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or comparable hands-on pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience working directly with medications, prescription processing, pharmacy workflows, and prior authorization procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of medication safety protocols, drug interaction considerations, and pharmacy best practices.
• Exceptional written communication skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to follow precise annotation instructions and guidelines with ease.
