Plant Operator / Labourer

Role overview

GFL Environmental is hiring a Plant Operator/Labourer to support day-to-day plant operations in the Greater St. John's Metropolitan Area. What you’ll do

• Handle materials by loading and unloading trucks and by processing waste materials.
• Keep equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition, along with maintaining the general work area.
• Take part in the plant’s daily housekeeping activities.
• Carry out other operational tasks as needed.

Working schedule

This is an 8-hour shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work required.

Requirements

• You must be able to work 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
• You should be available for some evening and weekend shifts.
• You need to be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• You must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
