About the Company
Dave Barry Plastics Ltd is a well-established manufacturer recognised for delivering premium plastic fabrication solutions. The company emphasizes craftsmanship, precision, and fostering a strong collaborative team environment. Located in Dungarvan, the firm is currently expanding its workshop team with skilled Plastic Fabricators.
Role Summary
The Plastic Fabricator is an integral part of the production team, performing hands-on fabrication tasks involving plastic materials and components. This includes activities like routing, deburring, and cutting within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, assemble, and finish plastic parts in line with technical specifications and drawings
- Operate hand tools, routers, and various workshop machinery safely and precisely
- Measure, cut, shape, and bend plastic materials according to required standards
- Support the manufacture of both custom and repeat orders
- Maintain a tidy, secure, and well-organized workshop environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet quality standards and project deadlines
- Diagnose and resolve fabrication challenges ensuring compliance with company quality benchmarks
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient practical experience using hand tools and routers is essential
- Background in plastic fabrication, joinery, or cabinet making is highly favorable
- Skilled in interpreting technical plans and demonstrating accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Dedicated to adhering to health, safety, and quality protocols
- Capable of working well within a team-oriented environment
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay ranges between €20.00 and €22.50.
- 25 days of annual leave plus statutory holidays, with an option to purchase 5 additional days post-probation
