About the Role

Hatch, a global leader with over seven decades of expertise in mining, energy, and infrastructure, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for its office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Positioned within the Project Delivery Group, this role supports procurement activities across EPCM projects aligned with major mining and infrastructure developments delivered in partnership with Ma'aden. The company emphasizes safety, innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact globally while acting locally.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing procurement tasks specific to EPCM projects.
Manage requests for quotations (RFQs), oversee communications with suppliers, handle bid documents, and process purchase orders efficiently.
Maintain comprehensive procurement logs and supplier databases, generating relevant procurement status reports.
Monitor supplier commitments, delivery timelines, and critical procurement milestones to ensure timely acquisition.
Participate in bid evaluations, commercial assessments, and supplier selection procedures.
Collaborate effectively with engineering, project controls, logistics, and other project teams to streamline procurement processes.
Keep track of procurement-related risks, address delivery challenges, and manage escalation processes when necessary.
Ensure all procurement documentation adheres strictly to project procedures and governance standards.
Provide support in contract administration, monitor supplier performance, and assist with project closeout activities.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Between three to five years of procurement or supply chain experience within EPCM, mining, construction, or industrial project environments.
Strong understanding of procurement workflows, including purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management practices.
Experience with ERP software systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.
Excellent organizational skills paired with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Familiarity with Saudi market norms and local content regulations is considered a plus.
Fluent English language skills; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
