Procurement Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to assist in acquiring electrical materials such as cables, switchgear, panels, and associated equipment for our operations in Tilda, India. The role involves managing vendor communications, procurement documentation, and coordinating material flow between departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing electrical components including cables and switchgear.
• Obtain quotations from various suppliers and prepare detailed comparative analyses.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate prices, confirm delivery schedules, and check material availability.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders while maintaining thorough procurement records.
• Ensure prompt follow-up with suppliers to guarantee timely receipt of goods.
• Liaise closely with engineering, project management, and inventory teams to understand material demands.
• Check incoming materials for compliance with technical specifications and purchase orders.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement reports.
• Support inventory assessments and stock planning initiatives.
• Adhere strictly to company procurement policies and standardized procedures.

Candidate Qualification

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any field of engineering.
