Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the produce department's cleanliness, organization, and clear zoning to keep it presentable and ready for shoppers at all times.

• Ensure accurate pricing and signage for all produce, adhering to processes related to ordering, clearance, markup, markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Strictly follow food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including performing temperature checks, using thermometers appropriately, practicing proper food handling, and complying with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and destock merchandise as necessary, apply product protection measures as required, and set up modular displays to maintain full department inventory.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to keep the workplace safe and clean.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with business needs to help store operations run smoothly.
• Handle the physical demands of the job, such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items typically weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and engage in repetitive stocking and organizing tasks with consistent attention to detail.
