Production Operator

Job Overview

Our client, a leading company based in Cork specializing in the design and manufacturing of highly reliable electronic motor control solutions, is seeking several Production Operators for assembly and testing roles. These positions are initially offered on a 12-month contract basis with full employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic modules and systems following established instructions.
• Use torque tools to securely fasten specific components.
• Carry out manual assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and mechanical parts adhering strictly to assembly guides, process protocols, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Handle typical components such as circuit boards and electronic parts.
• Apply adhesives and conformal coatings where required.
• Perform prototype assembly under engineering supervision.
• Set up necessary equipment and conduct process measurements as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably over two years of experience or demonstrated knowledge in electronics assembly operations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard protocols is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact comfortably and positively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
