About the company
Fisher & Paykel Appliances is a well-known New Zealand brand with global reach and a strong local legacy. The company’s culture is shaped by curiosity, care, and a commitment to creating people-focused solutions. Its values include trust, sustainability, innovation, generosity, and curiosity, and it encourages a collaborative environment where ideas are openly shared, assessed, and improved together.
The business is also moving into a new phase of growth in Auckland, expanding across a three-site campus: a Global HQ in Penrose, a Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and a Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn.
The role
Fisher & Paykel is looking for a Programmatic Specialist to join its in-house Global Marketing team in Auckland. This is a practical, hands-on role focused on managing and improving programmatic and digital campaigns across multiple international markets within the Google Marketing Platform ecosystem.
The team is evolving from simple campaign execution into a trusted performance marketing partner for the wider business, and this role will help shape that transition. You will work closely with teams across marketing performance, analytics, digital operations, and global brand to plan effective, measurable campaigns and provide a clear view on media investment decisions.
What you will do
- Assess campaign goals, measurement needs, budgets, and target markets, then help shape evidence-based recommendations for how media spend should be distributed across programmatic and digital channels.
- Set up, manage, and optimise campaigns from start to finish in DV360 and CM360, ensuring proper trafficking, configuration, and delivery against KPIs.
- Track budget pacing and campaign results across regions, then improve audience targeting, bidding, inventory selection, and creative performance where needed.
- Investigate underperformance across audience, inventory, ad delivery, and media investment, and propose practical next steps to improve outcomes.
- Run quality checks and resolve delivery or technical problems quickly.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards such as Looker Studio, turning campaign data into usable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate tags and assets with external vendors while keeping documentation accurate and campaign operations clean.
- Help strengthen measurement approaches, team processes, and performance marketing practices across the wider function.
- Stay informed about platform updates and new programmatic trends, then bring useful ideas back to the team.
About you
You should have solid hands-on experience in programmatic advertising, ideally gained in a media agency, an in-house marketing team, or a digital performance environment. You need to be comfortable working directly in ad platforms and confident turning campaign data into action.
- Practical experience with DV360 and CM360, along with a strong understanding of core programmatic concepts such as DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, audience management, and verification tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability and the confidence to diagnose performance issues from data.
- A consultative mindset, with the ability to interpret business goals, understand brand nuances, and advise on channel and budget strategy.
- A proactive approach that looks beyond immediate tasks to spot improvement opportunities.
- Clear communication skills for working with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and market timelines without losing attention to detail.
- Curiosity and a willingness to keep learning about the changing programmatic landscape.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification or an industry certification such as GMP or Google Analytics is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience and the ability to apply that experience matter most.
What is offered
This role is based at the new Penrose office in Auckland and uses a hybrid working model, with set days in the office alongside your team. It offers exposure to a large, complex global organisation that is headquartered in New Zealand, along with the opportunity to work in an internationally operating business without leaving the country.
Alongside a competitive salary and hybrid work arrangement, the company provides development pathways and progression opportunities. Additional benefits include discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, life and disability insurance, subsidised medical cover, access to the Whānau/Family leave policy, a subsidised on-site café, and complimentary parking when working from the office.
The company also highlights its strong leadership, trusted brand reputation, and ongoing recognition as one of New Zealand’s most trusted brands.
Application information
Interested candidates are invited to submit a CV and cover letter for consideration.

Fisher & Paykel is an equal opportunity employer. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, colour, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
