Role Summary

As a Project Manager, you will lead complex Global Business Services (GBS) transition and transformation projects end-to-end within the country Programme Delivery and PMO team based in Bangalore and Krakow. Reporting to the local VP and aligning with global program governance, you will translate functional scopes into actionable plans, resolve challenges, and ensure successful transition delivery. Initially focused on priority transition areas, you will develop broadly applicable project management skills to support further GBS projects and transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned project or transition workstreams from initiation through delivery, stabilization, and handover phases.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including milestones, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, actions, and decisions logs.
• Ensure project delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets while escalating blockers and swiftly addressing issues.
• Collaborate with functional subject matter experts, country teams, GCC leaders, PMO, Change Management, and Service Management functions to coordinate delivery efforts.
• Convert functional and transition requirements into practical delivery and readiness plans with clear accountability.
• Maintain transparent reporting and update stakeholders on progress, risks, decisions, and needed support.
• Consistently apply standard project management methodologies, governance, templates, and tools throughout transition activities.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to enhancing future GBS transition and program delivery capabilities.
• Build transferable project management expertise to support a wider array of GBS projects and transformation initiatives beyond the initial scope.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience managing complex business change, transformation, shared services, or GBS/GCC transitions.
• Demonstrated success in delivering cross-functional projects involving planning, execution, risk and dependency control, and stakeholder engagement.
• History of owning full delivery responsibility in business transitions or transformation, not limited to coordination or reporting roles.
• Relevant functional knowledge connected to the 2027 focus area combined with strong project management discipline and ownership.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to delivery, able to identify issues, take initiative, and maintain project momentum independently.
• Experience working with matrix teams across multiple stakeholders and preferably multiple geographical locations.
• Strong communication, reporting, and escalation capabilities to convey clear, actionable delivery status.
• Resilience and practical problem-solving skills to adjust plans when priorities shift or problems arise.

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with mobilization, stabilization, adoption, or benefits realization processes.
• Exposure to finance, procurement, HR, PMO, warranty/roaming, or related functional transition areas.
• Background in shared services, GBS, GCC, service management, or organizational operating model changes.
• Possession of recognized project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APM.
• Involvement in developing project management standards, templates, lessons learned, or enhancing program delivery capabilities.
