About The Role

You will lead a variety of applied psychological research initiatives and deliver professional services tailored to enhance organisational preparedness and efficiency within the Ministry of Defence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee applied psychological research projects from inception to completion.
• Offer professional guidance to bolster organisational readiness and effectiveness.
• Design, plan, and coordinate research activities.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff involved in assigned projects, with potential leadership responsibilities.
• Use psychological expertise to drive organisational development and improvements.
• Conduct research and perform analyses on topics pertinent to the organisation's needs.
• Keep up-to-date with recent advancements and research trends in applied psychology.

Qualifications and Skills

• Formal education and training in Psychology.
• Strong inclination and aptitude for applied psychological research.
• Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
• Sound understanding of organisational psychology concepts and applications.
• Competence in research methodologies and design.
• Membership with the Singapore Psychological Society is preferred.
