Quality Assessor

About the Role

As a Quality Assessor at Silver Fern Farms, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing quality systems throughout the site. Your role includes verifying that inspections, processes, and documentation consistently comply with customer expectations, regulatory mandates, and company standards. Your efforts will significantly impact our capability to deliver premium products while safeguarding the company's reputation. In addition, you will promote compliance programs and aid continuous improvement within processing teams.

The position operates on various shift rotations including early starts at 5:00/5:30 AM and 7:00 AM, as well as afternoon starts around 2:30/3:00 PM, totaling approximately 40 hours weekly. Please note, although this is a stable permanent role, the site undergoes a seasonal shutdown lasting 6 to 8 weeks each year.

Candidate Profile

• Proven background in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Process Control.
• Excellent skills in communication and documentation.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities paired with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Skillful in balancing quality and production demands with tact and diplomacy.
• Competent with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
