Quality Engineer - Endpoint Management

The Quality Engineer in Endpoint Management plays a critical role in delivering dependable, high-performance, and secure endpoint solutions across the organization. Collaborating closely with development, operations, and support teams, this position focuses on improving device management by implementing effective testing strategies and fostering continuous improvement to enhance platform stability, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design thorough testing strategies and comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, security, and integration aspects of endpoint management solutions.
• Create and maintain automated testing suites to facilitate continuous validation of endpoint management updates and features.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to detect defects, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhancement; work alongside development teams to promptly address issues.
• Ensure all endpoint management solutions adhere to organizational security policies and data privacy standards.
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate scalability and reliability of endpoint management platforms under diverse conditions.
• Develop detailed documentation including test reports and quality metrics to support software releases and audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, support, and operations teams to promote quality initiatives and improve product usability.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies related to endpoint management and quality engineering; recommend process and tool improvements accordingly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance or engineering, particularly with endpoint or device management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager or VMware Workspace ONE.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks and scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards applicable to endpoint management.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
• Experience working with cloud-based endpoint management services.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Exposure to Agile software development practices.
• Relevant certifications like ISTQB, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator are advantageous.
