Quality Inspector

About the Role

Join Velocity Electronics in Singapore as a Quality Inspector dedicated to elevating product quality and supporting seamless operational performance. This role is centered on using advanced testing tools and methods to ensure electronic products comply with both manufacturer and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electronic components and related products to confirm conformity with quality standards.
• Employ sophisticated inspection instruments and techniques to verify products meet specified requirements.
• Maintain precise records of inspection outcomes and supporting data within the company's ERP system.
• Prepare photographic documentation to substantiate inspection results and maintain quality evidence.
• Work closely with Quality Managers to assure timely and accurate completion of all inspection activities.
• Effectively communicate inspection findings to Quality, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams as necessary.
• Undertake additional duties that support the operational and business needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed ITE or diploma in electronics engineering or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in handling electronic components or working in inspection and quality assurance; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of working in Electrostatic Protected Areas (EPA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic skills in photography and photo editing.
• Preferred familiarity with fundamental failure analysis techniques such as decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional assessments.
