Overview

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to service residential properties by performing various types of cleaning including move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and general property readiness tasks. This position suits candidates who are experienced, self-managed, and professional in their approach to cleaning assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Attend scheduled residential cleaning appointments for move-ins, move-outs, and rental turnovers.
Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks throughout the property according to company standards.
Clean all living spaces including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as needed.
Wipe down various surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
Clean interior parts of appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
Identify any areas requiring additional cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or further attention.
Document work by taking clear before-and-after photos and videos of the properties and completed tasks.
Provide detailed updates and notes after each visit to communicate findings and work done.
Maintain professional communication with tenants, property owners, and the internal team.
Follow company guidelines including cleaning checklists, access instructions, and appointment details carefully.

General Cleaning Duties May Include

Move-in and move-out cleaning

Kitchen and bathroom sanitation
Cleaning of appliances
Surface dusting and cabinet cleaning
Window sills and baseboards cleaning

Candidate Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role such as cleaner, housekeeper, or residential cleaning contractor.
Strong understanding of residential cleaning protocols and standards.
Reliable personal transportation to travel between properties.
Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each assignment.
Comfortable working independently at client properties.
Possession of an advanced smartphone with a high-quality camera, such as an iPhone 13 or equivalent, to capture clear photos and videos.
Ability to write concise and clear notes with updates after each cleaning appointment.
Highly professional, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills to interact respectfully with tenants, property owners, and internal team members.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, checklists, and property access protocols.

Preferred Experience

Background in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning projects.
Experience preparing residential properties for showings, inspections, or move-ins.
Skill in identifying maintenance issues, damage, junk removal requirements, pest presence, access challenges, or safety concerns during cleaning visits.
Experience working independently for companies in property management, cleaning, or maintenance services.
