Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior E-commerce Business Analyst based in Hebbal, Bengaluru, working from office five days a week. The shift timing is from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST, with transportation provided. This role demands ownership of end-to-end project delivery, requiring effective collaboration with product owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirement clarity and solution implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project discussions and manage enhancements by engaging with product owners, IT teams, and stakeholders.
Gather, analyze, and define detailed business requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables for IT developers.
Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and perform walkthroughs with relevant parties to gain alignment and approval.
Serve as a liaison between business, IT, product teams, and cross-functional groups throughout project phases.
Design and execute test cases and scenarios, driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolving defects.
Monitor project progress by tracking dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively mitigating any roadblocks.
Develop expertise in e-commerce process workflows, identify areas for process improvement, and suggest scalable business solutions.
Mentor junior team members and act as a functional leader ensuring consistent quality and best practices.
Independently take initiative and ownership with minimal supervision to deliver results.
Prepare and present reports and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate release activities and support post-deployment follow-ups.
Function as the key point of contact to foster communication and alignment among diverse teams organization-wide, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
6 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in e-commerce or digital platform environments.
Strong exposure to working closely with product owners and IT development teams.
Demonstrated experience in documentation such as BRDs, requirements elicitation, and executing UAT.
Hands-on familiarity with platforms like Magento, Salesforce, or other e-commerce solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting to senior management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
Solid project management and organizational capabilities.
Advanced understanding of business analysis methodologies and software development/testing lifecycle.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced workplaces.
Experience of gradually assuming greater levels of responsibility is a plus.
