Overview

Mackie Myers collaborates with a rapidly expanding consumer goods company to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst for their Finance division. This role is tailored for candidates transitioning directly from Investment Banking to apply their financial modeling and analytical expertise to impactful commercial and strategic business decisions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and continual forecasting processes.
• Design both short-term and long-term financial planning frameworks.
• Conduct cash flow forecasting and liquidity evaluations.
• Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to assess financial outcomes.
• Analyze company performance and determine essential financial and operational drivers.
• Create models to evaluate new business initiatives, investments, and market opportunities.
• Contribute to management reporting and deliver executive-level financial insights.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance financial transparency and decision-making capabilities.
• Generate detailed reports supporting strategic company initiatives.
• Support improvements in forecasting, planning, and modeling processes to align with business growth.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately two years of experience within Investment Banking is mandatory.
• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and Excel.
• Strong comprehension of financial statements and cash flow concepts.
• Capability to build complex financial models from the ground up.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Clear and concise financial communication skills.
• Strong academic background preferred.
• A motivation to transition from advisory roles into an operational business environment, witnessing the commercial outcomes of their contributions.

Experience in consumer goods is advantageous but not required. The emphasis lies on solid financial knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
