Senior Video Editor

Role overview

The Senior Video Editor will craft polished, cinematic video content for commercials, brand films, event openers, and corporate productions. The position calls for strong storytelling judgment, advanced editing capability, and disciplined handling of multiple workflows at once.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visually compelling videos that align with client expectations and creative goals.
• Handle several projects simultaneously, each with its own deadline.
• Provide operational support and guidance to keep systems and devices running smoothly.
• Deliver assigned work on time and in line with instructions from the supervisor.
• Help organize and maintain a network storage library for media assets in line with post-editing standards.
• Export and render video and audio for different delivery formats.
• Own major edits from the first rough assembly through final delivery.
• Refine pacing, rhythm, structure, and narrative flow.
• Carry out advanced color grading using DaVinci Resolve or Lumetri.
• Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, and compositing elements using After Effects.
• Keep timelines, media assets, exports, and project files organized and clean.
• Review work from the client’s perspective and assess how the final video will be received.
• Research emerging tools and technologies in the editing and production field.
• Contribute fresh ideas for presenting messages to clients and customers.
• Take up training that supports performance improvement and quality standards.
• Represent the company in client-facing situations when needed.
• Work closely with the Director and Creative Producer to bring the creative vision to life.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or university degree in film-making, video production, or graphic design is preferred.
• A degree in Film Editing, Post-Production, Media Arts, or a related discipline is also acceptable.
• At least 5 years of experience in editing, photography, and videography.
• Strong narrative sense and editorial timing.
• Comfortable managing several projects under pressure and tight timelines.
• Good command of English is required; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects at an intermediate level.
• Strong capability in color grading with DaVinci Resolve is highly desirable.
• Understanding of end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI-based editing and enhancement tools.
• Familiarity with 3D software such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya.

Additional information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Doha, Qatar. The position involves maintaining high production standards, meeting project deadlines, and supporting client-facing creative work when required.
