Position Overview
We seek a swift and commercially savvy short-form video editor/designer to generate TikTok and e-commerce promotional content at scale. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires on-site full-time commitment. The role prioritizes rapid production, clear communication of product value, and continuous refinement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a high volume of TikTok and e-commerce short videos using tools like CapCut, templates, AI resources, and licensed or stock assets with efficient, replicable workflows.
- Establish and maintain a library of top-performing visual elements, including inserts, backgrounds, motion templates, and references for diverse categories such as beauty, home, and consumer electronics.
- Customize effective short-video formats for US audiences, employing bold typography, strong visual contrast, clear product advantages, and pace optimized for performance.
- Mass-produce between 30 and 50 video variations daily by altering footage, hooks, captions, offers, and calls to action from predefined templates.
- Edit talking-head product footage by selecting impactful sound clips and enhancing them with on-screen captions, visual highlights, and sound effects.
- Keep abreast of trends on TikTok Live and e-commerce creative spaces to identify and integrate reusable styles and references.
Requirements and Preferences
- Possess a keen intuition for US short-form and social-commerce video styles, with the ability to rapidly evaluate and modify high-performing formats.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency and speed in CapCut; familiarity with AI-based image/video tools and obtaining licensed or stock assets is advantageous.
- Be comfortable managing fast-paced iterations, handling large production volumes, organizing digital assets, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience in e-commerce or international commerce targeting North America is preferred.
- Knowledge of acquisition-oriented creatives, viral content trends, or storytelling in social-commerce context is beneficial.
