Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and social media-savvy Social Media Associate to support the execution of organic social media initiatives for Nutrafol's Women’s and Men’s brands. This role involves managing content calendars, publishing across multiple platforms, coordinating with creators, and ensuring smooth project workflows. The position demands flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special projects aligned with high-priority brand moments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily management of organic social content calendars for both Women’s and Men’s brands.
Publish, schedule, optimize, and verify content quality across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels; weekend posting required.
Create platform-native social copy such as captions and Instagram Story texts when needed.
Capture, edit, and produce short-form video content including TikToks, Reels, and Stories on occasion.
Support content shoots, organize raw footage, finalize assets, and manage briefs and approvals.
Collaborate with Content and Creative teams to ensure asset readiness and timely delivery.
Monitor the content calendar for gaps and suggest new content opportunities aligned with priorities.
Stay informed about social trends, platform changes, content formats, and creator behavior to advise on relevant and timely content opportunities.
Adapt existing content to suit each social media platform effectively.
Manage communication and coordination with creators, influencers, and testimonial participants, handling briefs, agreements, timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
Track and administer budgets, usage rights, payments, and posting schedules related to creator content.
Facilitate community engagement activities such as giveaways and Instagram Live events, including winner outreach and tracking audience interactions.
Prepare clear briefs for campaigns and content, source suitable user-generated content for advertising, and maintain organized documentation and budget tracking.

Qualifications

Between 2 and 4 years of relevant experience in social media, creator marketing, or community management.
In-depth knowledge of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and familiarity with rising platforms.
Keen understanding of social media trends, culture, creator behaviors, and native content formats.
Proven ability to identify and incorporate relevant trends to enhance brand presence.
Experience in shooting and editing compelling short-form videos.
Exceptional writing, communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
Ability to engage with creators, consumers, and cross-functional teams confidently.
Skilled at juggling multiple calendars, deadlines, and approvals accurately in a fast-paced context.
Attention to detail with strong execution skills under changing priorities.
Familiarity with tools for social publishing, analytics, project and creator management, and file organization.
Interest in sectors such as hair wellness, beauty, health, lifestyle, or consumer brands is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

The position offers an annual base salary ranging between $70,000 and $80,000 USD. This does not include additional benefits or bonus eligibility composing the total compensation.
