Spa Assistant

Role Overview

The Spa Assistant is responsible for welcoming and orienting guests to the spa facilities, ensuring they are informed about amenities such as locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations. This role involves providing guests with comfort items like water, juice, and heated neck pillows, as well as answering inquiries regarding property and amenities.

Key Duties

• Guide guests to and from treatment rooms with care.
• Monitor scheduling updates frequently throughout the day using the computer system.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in workstations, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and lounges.
• Manage waste disposal and handle dirty linens appropriately.
• Secure supplies and equipment after each shift.
• Stock and replenish towels, linens, and amenities in all relevant areas of the spa.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager promptly.
• Complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and uphold a clean and professional uniform and appearance.
• Protect and respect company assets and property.
• Anticipate guest needs and express genuine thanks to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships within the team.
• Comply with the company’s quality assurance standards.
• Physically able to reach, bend, twist, pull, stoop, lift or carry objects up to 10 pounds, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
