Role Summary
As a Staff Data Analyst, you will serve as the technical authority responsible for advancing analytics capabilities within your product domain. You will engage from understanding complex business needs to architecting scalable data analytics systems that empower data-driven decision-making throughout the company.
Key Duties
- Design and implement scalable data modeling solutions using technologies such as dbt, SQL, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric ensuring delivery of reliable and high-quality analytics.
- Collaborate extensively with Product Managers and stakeholders to interpret complex business requirements into effective technical implementations, guide backlog prioritization, and ensure delivery of impactful business outcomes.
- Develop sophisticated Power BI dashboards and semantic data models fostering intuitive self-service reporting and supporting informed organizational decisions.
- Drive the continuous enhancement of the cloud analytics infrastructure, modernizing data products to meet performance and scalability objectives while supporting the transition to Microsoft Fabric cloud technologies.
- Advocate for best analytics practices, mentor peers, disseminate technical expertise, and contribute to innovative initiatives such as AI-enhanced analytics and self-service data provisions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or a related role in contemporary enterprise data environments.
- Proficient with SQL, dbt, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI, including extensive experience in building scalable analytical solutions and semantic models.
- Strong communication skills enabling effective interaction with both technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex challenges into scalable data solutions with clarity.
- Passionate about mentoring and leadership, promoting technical excellence, and enhancing analytics methodologies. Experience with Azure, Unity Catalog, Python, AI-assisted tool development, or cloud migration is highly advantageous.
