Role Overview

As a Store Manager at H&M, you will oversee every aspect of the customer experience, maintaining high visual and commercial standards that align with both global directives and the unique demands of your local store environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your store team to deliver exceptional customer service while actively promoting and selling products.
• Continuously monitor your store’s market position, understanding local opportunities, challenges, and competitor activity.
• Analyze sales data, establish targets, and formulate strategies to maximize sales performance, profitability, and inventory management.
• Effectively organize staff schedules and oversee maintenance tasks to align with budgetary and commercial priorities.
• Recruit new team members, manage onboarding, and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages professional growth and innovation.
• Keep informed about fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor tactics to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Represent both yourself and the H&M brand in all customer engagements with professionalism and positivity.

Team Collaboration

You will be part of a dynamic store team that includes Sales Advisors, Department and Assistant Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Cash Office and Delivery Responsibles in larger outlets. Cooperation with the Area Team and peers across stores will further enable sharing insights and joint success efforts. Together, the team’s goal is to empower customers to express their individuality through fashion that is both accessible and sustainable.

• Proven retail management experience with operational oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and passion for coaching, fostering team development while embodying company values.
• Strong customer-centric approach using relevant reporting tools to drive results.
• Expert in sales planning, analysis, and following up on performance metrics.
