Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager based in Berlin to design and implement new procurement processes while contributing to our company's strategy focused on profitable expansion. This role is ideal for a results-driven strategic thinker with proven procurement expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing forums alongside various departments, harmonizing sourcing strategies.
• Own the complete Source to Pay process for assigned categories including planning, supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiation.
• Develop guidelines and conduct benchmarking exercises.
• Assess and deliver cost savings potential at the European level for each account.
• Formulate and implement a strategic category roadmap.
• Analyze existing payment terms per category and pursue their improvement.
• Manage contract documentation and renewal schedules.
• Operate autonomously and efficiently within a highly self-driven work environment.
• Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders across various organizational levels.
• Foster collaboration and build strong partnerships with vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in procurement, preferably with expertise in process implementation and category management.
• Specific experience in the Technology procurement category (including software, hosting, telephony).
• Completed higher education, preferably at master's level.
• Desirable in-depth knowledge of global procurement from a managerial perspective.
• Proven capacity to develop strategies and lead initiatives for business enhancement.
• Strong analytical abilities accompanied by advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills; proficiency in German considered an advantage.
