Strategy Lead

About the Role

Join the acclaimed Strategy and Transformation team at London Ambulance Service where you will play a crucial role in adapting to evolving health and care demands while continuing to meet patient needs. As the Strategy Lead, you will manage a varied portfolio of change and transformation initiatives, from operational improvements like winter planning to major system-wide projects such as Neighbourhood Health. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary frontline teams to redesign services, enhance workflows, and ensure that staff, patient, and stakeholder perspectives shape our strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Direct the strategy development process for initiatives driving transformational change.
• Collaborate effectively with clinicians, managers, and staff to nurture a culture of ongoing service and quality enhancement.
• Ensure that all service development and transformative efforts comply with national/local performance targets and corporate governance requirements.
• Prepare detailed briefing documents and reports for the executive and senior management teams.
• Lead internal and external working groups, offering expertise and guidance where required to support implementation of solutions.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the line manager, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, or Deputy Director of Strategy and Transformation.
