Role Overview

We are looking for a Video Editor to support a direct response and info product operation. This role focuses on editing content that drives traffic operations: video sales letters (VSLs) and advertisements. The ideal candidate excels in creating dynamic, highly engaging videos featuring fast cuts, strong hooks, and rhythms that maintain viewer attention and prevent drop-off. Since frequent new creative content is essential for success, the key is producing high-quality videos quickly and in volume.

Key Responsibilities

Create vibrant, dopamine-stimulating ad creatives with rapid cuts, engaging hooks, subtitles, and sound design tailored for platforms like Meta and TikTok.
Edit VSLs comprehensively with an emphasis on retention and conversion.
Produce supplementary content such as order bumps, welcome videos, and delivery or member area materials.
Incorporate motion and graphic elements to boost engagement, including animated texts, highlights, transitions, and b-roll footage.
Maintain a fast-paced production cadence, delivering constant variations and new creatives.
Collaborate closely with copywriters and traffic teams to transform scripts and angles into effective videos.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience editing dynamic, performance-focused content rather than slow institutional or corporate videos.
Strong command of editing for ads and/or VSL formats.
Familiarity with motion graphics, capable of applying animated text, transitions, and highlights (senior motion designer level not mandatory).
Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalents.
Ability to deliver high volume quickly without sacrificing quality.
Good sense of pacing, hooking, and retention to hold audience attention effectively.

Preferred Extras

Portfolio showcasing creatives that performed well in paid traffic campaigns, ideally with metrics or results.
Experience working with info products, launches, or evergreen sales models.
Advanced motion skills with strong After Effects knowledge.
Background in financial, trading, or investment niches.
Basic audio capture and sound design skills.

Employment Model and Compensation

This position is 100% remote with remuneration in USD, to be determined based on seniority.
