About the Role
Visteon Corporation is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to join their Workforce Architecture team, a pivotal group driving the future of talent management, cost efficiency, and productivity. This position is ideal for an analytical and curious professional passionate about leveraging data and strategy to create impactful business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a dynamic Role Risk Register assessing the effects of AI and automation on company roles.
- Transform complex data into actionable insights to support reskilling, role redeployment, and workforce evolution.
- Collaborate with Talent teams to anticipate and prepare for future critical skills and roles.
- Design workforce investment and divestment strategies by evaluating hiring needs in line with business priorities, internal talent, and automation capabilities.
- Support leadership with data-driven decisions on cost management, productivity enhancement, and talent allocation.
- Lead the creation of 12 to 36-month workforce forecasts, integrating demand, skills, hiring, and attrition data.
- Offer regular insights about talent gaps, surpluses, and priorities for recruitment.
- Develop scalable analytics tools to increase planning accuracy and organizational agility.
- Drive organizational efficiency by simplifying structures such as spans, layers, and role alignment, unlocking productivity and capacity.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
Expected Outcomes in the First Year
- Complete an AI impact assessment on all roles and implement targeted reskilling plans.
- Establish a comprehensive workforce investment framework to identify optimization opportunities.
- Launch a predictive workforce intelligence platform to enhance long-term planning accuracy.
- Lead organizational design initiatives to improve productivity and free capacity.
Measures of Success
- Achieve full transparency on AI risk exposure across roles with effective risk mitigation.
- Deliver tangible return on investment and optimized workforce outcomes.
- Improve forecasting accuracy to approximately ±5%.
- Significantly redeploy talent to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in workforce planning, resource management, or engineering operations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, ideally with experience in strategy, finance, analytics, or consulting.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders through clear, data-driven communication and storytelling.
- Skilled in assessing trade-offs, scenario analysis, and understanding financial impacts.
- Strong focus on achieving business outcomes such as capacity optimization, productivity improvements, and cost efficiency.
