Position Overview

MBNAC is forming a Government and Defense business team focused on delivering mobility solutions such as the G-Class vehicle to U.S. government and defense clients. This team is creating an AI-powered toolset to aid in capture intelligence gathering, business development reporting, and proposal generation.

The AI Program Manager Intern will collaborate directly with the Program Specialist and Business Development leadership to design, develop, and manage AI tools that enhance daily operations, including monitoring government opportunities, maintaining dashboards and CRM systems, and accelerating proposal drafting through AI-driven workflows. The role requires adaptability as the technical infrastructure is under active development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI prototypes to track government Requests for Information (RFIs) and proposal announcements to identify potential capture opportunities promptly.
Create and sustain AI-enabled dashboards and CRM systems that monitor pipelines, key performance indicators, milestones, and stakeholder contacts.
Utilize large language models (LLMs) to assist in drafting and generating reusable proposal content while adhering to compliance requirements.
Conduct research on emerging LLM capabilities, facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions, and evaluate government contracting platforms to guide strategic decisions on technology adoption.
Support program operations by automating workflows, tracking milestones, maintaining documentation, and preparing for meetings.

Candidate Qualifications

Master's degree candidate or recent graduate in Artificial Intelligence in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields.
Three to five years of relevant professional experience or equivalent educational background.
Proficient with modern LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini) and skilled in prompt engineering.
Experience creating dashboards, trackers, or lightweight applications using tools such as Excel, business intelligence solutions, Python, or low/no-code platforms.
Strong communication skills, capable of conveying advanced technical ideas to non-technical teams.
Self-motivated problem solver comfortable working in an early-stage team environment without established procedures.
Preferred qualifications include interest in government or defense contracting, familiarity with capture or proposal software, Microsoft Copilot, basic Python knowledge, Microsoft 365 proficiency, German language skills, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Additional Information

This position is primarily remote but may require occasional in-person attendance at locations such as Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ depending on assignment needs.
