Architect - CHO Projects

Job Summary

This role entails ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for architectural tasks within the department. The architect is responsible for updating stakeholders on project-related challenges and guaranteeing quality by adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and maintaining essential documentation related to the project scope.

Key Duties

• Ensure all architectural work complies with applicable laws, codes, and standards.
• Report and communicate job-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain quality standards by following QMS guidelines and preserving project documentation.
• Prepare and review designs and Schedule of Quantities (SOQ).
• Verify and issue Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings relevant to assigned projects.
• Manage records including prints, check prints, commented prints, drawings, and checklists for projects.
• Assign tasks appropriately and provide architectural guidance to the design team.
• Review the interfaces of IFC drawings for coordination and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an Architecture degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of three years of experience, including one year of formal training.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic understanding of development control regulations and general building codes.
• Proficient in architectural design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Familiarity with project specifications and standards.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management System (QMS) practices.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with 3D visualization tools such as 3D Studio Max.
