Role Overview and Responsibilities

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring an outstanding guest experience by maintaining immaculate standards.   • Proven ability to manage large-scale operations maintaining high quality during peak occupancy periods.
  • Experience in supervising room attendants, public area cleaning staff, and F&B cleaning teams.
  • Strong skills in conducting room and public area inspections and quality audits.
  • Familiarity with inventory control of linen and uniforms and ability to manage these resources efficiently.
  • Competent in manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity monitoring for sizeable teams.
  • Experience assisting in staff onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interdepartmental coordination capabilities.
  • Capable of thriving in high-pressure environments, meeting deadlines while maintaining standards.
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems such as Opera or equivalents, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
