Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Estimation based in Warangal Rural, Telangana. This role involves detailed tender analysis, preparing precise quantity and cost estimates, designing solutions, coordinating cross-functionally, and managing costing and commercial tasks to support our building security systems projects.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly review tender documents such as specifications, drawings, and schedules for compliance and accuracy.
Compile accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, Input/Output summaries, Bills of Materials (BOMs), cost sheets, and techno-commercial proposals for IBMS, Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Public Address Systems (PAS), Security, Networking, and ELV systems.
Select and evaluate suitable products and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) per project needs and approved vendor lists.
Design system architectures, select devices, and develop value-engineered solutions to enhance competitiveness.
Prepare compliance documentation and assess engineering labor estimates adhering to guidelines.
Collaborate with teams from design, sales, procurement, and projects to clarify technical details and optimize solutions.
Engage with sales teams to grasp customer needs and participate in pre-sales and technical reviews.
Work alongside procurement and vendors to negotiate favorable pricing for materials and labor.
Accurately cost materials, labor, subcontracting, and system integrations, while maintaining pricing databases and templates for future bids.
Support bid preparation processes ensuring timely tender submissions.
Manage job bookings and processes within SAP, documenting and enforcing estimation workflows and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

8 to 10 years of relevant experience in estimation or related roles.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, or equivalent engineering disciplines.
Work from office, based in Warangal Rural, Telangana.

Essential Skills

Comprehensive product knowledge in IBMS, FAS, PAS, Security, Networking, and ELV systems technologies.
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
Strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of building security system design, networking, servers, and IT hardware.
Goal and results-driven, focused on meeting project deadlines and delivering quality.
Expertise in Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Building Management Systems, Public Address, CCTV, and physical security equipment from various manufacturers.
Effective negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers.
Experience using AutoCAD is favorable.
