CAN Driver

Position Overview

This role involves efficiently and courteously picking up and delivering packages along a designated route while ensuring compliance with FedEx Canada service standards, accompanied by customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and polite package pick-up and delivery on assigned routes.
• Verify that all shipments conform to Federal Express Canada service guidelines.
• Carry out related customer service activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs manually and handle items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
• Preference given to candidates with at least one year of customer-focused business experience.
• Completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with minimum required scores.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operational procedures and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• This is a permanent full-time position with working days from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• The job description is general and not exhaustive; employees must be prepared to undertake other assigned tasks, meet thresholds for mandatory tests and training, operate in Windows environments, attend periodic training, maintain annual accreditations, and work varying shifts depending on operational requirements.
• Applicants in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English and hold a valid driving license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) with no more than two infractions or accidents in the past 24 months.
• Candidates will be evaluated based on driving records, interview performance, and results from driving assessments.
