Role Overview
The Cleaning Services Worker I is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas to uphold customer and client satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities can differ depending on the specific location and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all assigned areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Properly use and store cleaning equipment after use.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or deficiencies.
- Check that all equipment is safe and operational.
- Assist with linen handling and management tasks.
- Perform additional spring or deep cleaning duties as required.
- Operate onsite washing machines for internal laundry tasks when applicable.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and Fire Safety policies.
- Report any hazards noticed to Management promptly.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene in all components of work.
- Address customer feedback and complaints in line with company or component policies.
- Maintain personal appearance and hygiene, including appropriate clothing, footwear, and headgear at all times.
- Engage in company training programs aimed at enhancing job performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Comply with any reasonable instructions given by Aramark Management.
Qualifications and Work Conditions
- Ability to follow established procedures to execute routine cleaning tasks effectively.
- Polite and respectful demeanor towards clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility with work hours and tasks as required.
- The role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged walking and standing.
- Use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected.
