About the Role
This Clinical Research Coordinator position is based in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area and involves supporting four active research sites. The role requires managing responsibilities across multiple locations on a predetermined rotation, necessitating reliable daily transportation between sites.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily coordination of studies across all four research locations.
- Obtain informed consent and conduct patient visits following study protocols.
- Maintain and update source documents and perform electronic data capture and case report form entries.
- Monitor and manage laboratory specimens, drug inventory accountability, and regulatory documentation.
- Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, and principal investigators at each site.
- Organize scheduling efforts to ensure study visit windows are adhered to at all locations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience interacting directly with patients or previous exposure as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites with flexible scheduling.
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in documentation and organization are essential.
- Reliable transportation is required to facilitate daily travel between sites.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC/CCRP) is advantageous but not required.
