Responsibilities
- Perform regular regulatory compliance reviews and investigations to verify adherence to established procedures.
- Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding compliance matters and overseeing reports of irregularities.
- Lead the development and coordination of regulatory reviews covering policies, procedures, training, marketing, and other communication to maintain compliance standards.
- Create and manage self-assessment and compliance monitoring frameworks.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and enforcement of policies prompted by new laws and regulations.
- Author compliance reports detailing findings and actions taken.
- Maintain and update the organization's risk register routinely.
- Escalate potential or actual noncompliance risks to appropriate stakeholders.
- Facilitate and lead training sessions for employees on compliance and legal topics.
- Coordinate interactions and visits from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
- Respond to requests and reports as mandated by SAMA.
- Serve as the liaison for regulatory visits and communications.
- Direct the implementation process of newly introduced regulations.
- Lead efforts analyzing regulatory penalties and mitigating risks.
- Review and act upon whistleblowing reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
